Pray and seek for Jerusalem’s peace, for all who love her will prosper! Psalm 122:6
Praise the Lord dear brothers and sisters,
Today we are praying for the nation and the people of Israel. For the people that are called ‘the Chosen One of God’.
For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen,
Isaiah 45:4
The Bible says that Israël is the apple of God’s eye. He describes Himself as being the Holy One of Israel.
For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
Zechariah 2:8
Picture that that and so regardless of your stance, regardless of your political beliefs or affiliations; those that love the Lord will pray for what He loves, amen!
Let us join with Israel, because we love God.
His word says:
Anyone can say, “I love God,” yet have hatred toward another believer. This makes him a phony, because if you don’t love a brother or sister, whom you can see, how can you truly love God, whom you can’t see?
1 John 4:20
So we pray for Israel. In this short prayer we're simply going to put God in remembrance of His Word.
This is not only a natural war, but this is also a spiritual battle as well. Let’s go before the Lord, the Holy One of Israel in prayer:
We pray:
Father, we thank You that we can pray to You from the safety of our homes. We intercede for those who are not in a position to do so.
Father, first and foremost we ask that You would forgive Israel.
We ask You according to Your words that You would turn their hearts back to You.
Father, we thank You that we have the beauty of the New Covenant.
Father even now as they read the old Covenant they still do so with veiled faces, but we ask that by the blood of Jesus and by the power of Your Spirit that You would begin to lift that veil and show them Yourself as the Messiah: as the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Father, we pray Lord God that they would not trust in weapons and wisdom, but they will put their trust in You.
Some find their strength in their weapons and wisdom, but my miracle deliverance can never be won by men. Our boast is in Yahweh our God, Who makes us strong and gives us victory!
Psalm 20:8
Father, it is good that they have military strength but military strength can fail.
Give victory to Israël, O Yahweh! The day we call on you, give us your answer!
Psalm 20:10
Father, it's good that they’ve got defense and they need defense, but natural defenses can fail. But you Lord, You never fail and You are The God Who says You never sleep over Israel.
He will never slumber nor sleep; He is the Guardian-God for His people, Israel. Yahweh Himself will watch over you; He’s always at your side to shelter you safely in His presence.
Psalm 121:4-5
Father we thank You that You arise. Father and that You would destroy and divide the tongues of those who would incite violence against Israel. Father, we pray that the scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land Israël a lotted for the righteous.
The wicked will not always rule over the godly, provoking them to do what is evil.
Psalm 125:3
Lord Jesus, I thank You that Your Word says that You will not forsake Your people for Your great Name's sake, because it has pleased You to make Israel your people.
For the Lord will never walk away from his cherished ones, nor would he forsake his chosen ones who belong to him.
Psalm 94:14
Father, I pray that You would bring the counsel of the nations to nothing and that You will make their plans of no effect.
With His breath He scatters the schemes of nations who oppose Him; they will never succeed.
Psalm 33:10
Father, I pray that You would show Your loving kindness to Your people Israel and keep them as the apple of Your eye. Father, hide them under the shadow of Your wings keep them from the wicked who would try to oppress them. Keep Israël from those that would their deadly enemies who would try to surround them.
Protect me from harm; keep an eye on me as you would a child who is reflected in the twinkling of your eye. Yes, hide me within the shelter of your embrace, under your outstretched wings. Protect me there from all my foes. For there are many who surround my soul to completely destroy me.
Psalm 17:8-9
At each and every sunrise we will be thanking You for Your kindness and Your love.
Psalm 92:3
Father, according to Your word inEzekiel 36:22-24 that says:
Therefore, say to the people of Israel what I, Lord Yahweh, say: I will not take action for your sake, people of Israel, but for the sake of the honor of my holy name, which you have caused to be slandered among the nations wherever you have gone. I am going to magnify the holiness of my great name, which you have greatly dishonored before the eyes of foreign nations. And when I magnify my holiness in you before their eyes, the nations will know that I am Yahweh. I, Lord Yahweh, have spoken. I will take you from every nation and country and bring you back home to your own land.
Father, I thank You that You have fulfilled that. That you have brought them back into their own land.
I thank you Father for Your great Name's sake that You would continue to uphold them.
That You would forgive them of how they have profaned your Name in whatever way that they have profaned your name Father, just as we as Netherlanders have profaned Your name. Father, we repent not only on our behalf, but on theirs as well.
Jesus, I thank You Lord God that You will do it for Your Name's sake, for Your holy Name's sake. Father, I thank you as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Father, we speak shalom over Jerusalem.
Let there be shalom in Jerusalem.
Let there be peace in the place of God that there be peace in Zion.
Pray and seek for Jerusalem’s peace, for all who love her will prosper! O Jerusalem, may there be peace for those who dwell inside your walls and prosperity in your every palace. I intercede for the sake of my family and friends who dwell there, that they may all live in peace. For the sake of your house, Yahweh our God, I will seek the welfare and prosperity of Jerusalem.
Psalm 122:6-9
Lord Jesus, according to Your word that says:
Give out a shout of cheer; sing for joy, O people of Zion, for great and mighty is the Holy One of Israel Who lives among you!
Isaiah 12:6
In the midst of Thee Father we thank You that You are great in the midst of Israël.
Lord Jesus, Be exalted among the nations,
Be exalted in all the earth,
Be exalted in the victory.
Everyone look! Come and see the breathtaking wonders of our God. For he brings both ruin and revival. He’s the one who makes conflicts end throughout the earth, breaking and burning every weapon of war. Surrender your anxiety. Be still and realize that I am God. I am God above all the nations, and I am exalted throughout the whole earth. Here he stands! The Commander! The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side! The God of Jacob fights for us!
Psalm 46:8-11
For You are the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel. Thank You Father, we thank you that angels now excel in strength. Lord Jesus, I thank you that the leaders and the military will excel in wisdom and Your divine protection. That Israël will unite together and that any inner division will stop.
We pray that the satellites will keep on working and give clear GPS and internet so that communication in and around Israël will stand firm.
Father, I thank you that You are causing great and mighty works to transpire in Your name. That all the nations, all the world that is watching and will know that there is a God in Israel.
Thank You Father for peace in Jerusalem and a repented heart that would turn back to You Father.
We give You praise, we give You honor, we give You glory and we thank You that You will continue to call the intercessors and the watchmen to the walls to pray over that which concerns You, in Jesus mighty name we pray, amen
Glory to God.
May you be encouraged to pray this prayer every day until we see the war cease.
Yeshua HaMashiah, Jesus our Messiah, You alone are holy, holy, holy, the Lord God Almighty, Who was, Who is, and is to come.
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty! Who Was, Who Is, and is to come!”
Revelation 4:8
Awaiting His soon return,
