O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. Psalm 47:1
Shalom Chaverim, Peace Friends,
A king was born to us. 2000 years ago Immanuel (God with us) came. He left the Troonekamer in heaven for a temporary stay here on earth. The Israelites at the time thought that their long -expected Messiah would free them from Roman power. But Jesus came to first free man from the sins that lived deep in their hearts.
God was born as a person in a simple family. Not in a golden palace or castle, but as a king in a house.
The purpose of his arrival was to restore our personal relationship with him. As it was intended from the start in the Hof van Eden. To walk with God. To talk to God. To rule in his authority about creation. He wanted to give us back everything that was stolen away by the snake. His arrival as a person made him chose to bear our fault. Jesus took our fault on the cross and so our fault was buried forever. Jesus stood up from the dead, as we rose from the dead with Him. How beautiful is that! The greatest miracle is done by what Jesus did for us: the restoration of our relationship with the Creator of heaven and the earth.
Jesus was not conceived by human seed, but by the seed of the Holy Spirit. Jesus was 100% man and 100% God. A holy child was born: Immanuël: God with us.
That is why the Lord himself will give you a sign: See, the Virgo will become pregnant. She will give birth to a son and give him the name Immanuel.
Isaiah 7:14
And the angel said to her: don't be afraid, Mary, for you have found grace with God. And see, you will get pregnant and give birth to a son and you will give him the name Jesus. He will be great and the Son of the Most High, and God, the Lord, will give him the throne of his Father David, and he will be king over the house of Jakob (Israel) forever and to His Kingdom No end.
Lukas 1: 30-33
God did not let the people pass by the people. He announced in his own wonderful way - to the people chosen by him - that the holy child was born. We know of this that these were the shepherds in the field and the sages from the East. Both parties went out to worship the newborn king.

The Shepherds
An army of angels announced to Deherder in the field that their long -wired Savior was born who would give a well -being in people. Here we also see it that Jesus did not come to save them from the Romansen tribulation, but to give good pleasure in man as the angels announce this to the shepherds: "Before they to God in the highest heavens, and and Peace on earth, a well -being in people ". Read with me:
And there were shepherds in the same region, who stopped in the open field and were watching their herd at night. And see, an angel of the Lord stood with them and the glory of the Lord they and they were very afraid. And the angel said to them: don't be afraid, for see, I proclaim you great joy, who will be for the whole of the people, namely that today is the Savior, in the city of David; He is Christ, the Lord. And this will be the sign for you: you will find the child in canvases wrapped and lying in the manger. And suddenly there was a crowd of the heavenly army of the angel, who praised God and said: Honor to God in the highest heavens, and peace on earth, a well -being in people. And it was done when the angels left them to heaven, that the shepherds said to each other: let's go to Bethlehem and see that word that the Lord announced us. And they went with a hurry and found Mary and Joseph, and the child lying in the manger. When they had seen it, they announced the word everywhere that they were told about this child. And all who heard it surprised about what was said to them by the shepherds. But Maria kept all these words and consulted them in her heart. And the shepherds returned and they glorified and praised God for everything they had heard and seen, as they had been spoken.
Lukas 2: 8-20
At the time, the star in the east pointed the shepherds to Jesus to worship Him. Today, Jesus personally shows us the way through His Holy Spirit and leads us to worship every day to stay on his narrow path. We can look forward to his perfect leadership under our continuous thanksgiving every day.
The shepherds were so pleased that they -after they had seen Jesus -, albeit everywhere. You have to imagine how this news spread like a fire among people. They did not need birth announcements or social media at all.
The sages
God had also announced the wise to the east that the long -awaited Messiah would be born and sent them out to give the child gifts and to worship it.
When Jesus was born in Bethlehem, in Judea, in the days of King Herodes, see, Wise Wijs from the east arrived in Jerusalem, and said: Where is the king of the Jews born? Because we have seen his star in the east and have come to worship him.
Matthew 2: 1-2
And see, the star they had seen in the east went for them, until he came to the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were looking forward to great joy. And when they came to the house, they found the child with Mary, his mother, and they fell down and worshiped it. They opened their treasury and brought him gifts: gold and incense and myrrh.
Matthew 2: 9-11
Our gifts of worship
We too can give a gift back every day if the sages of the east - Jesus can give back a gift for who he is and for what he has completed for us on the cross on Golgotha. The gifts that we can give, for example, is our worship, praise and honor.
We can worship and thank him in everything. It does not necessarily have to be an hour -long worship service, although this is very nice. But we can also constantly thank him in our daily work. For example, when you have just brought your groceries back to your home and you are unpacking it at home, you can thank him that this time he again provides what you need for food and drink. Or you can also sing for him while cycling work. There are countless ways to honor him daily in our own creative way.
Eternal thanks and worship
We can thank and worship him forever for what he did for us! Eternal life without illness, pain and sorrow. I will take you to a verse from the book of Revelation:
And every creature that is in heaven, on earth, under the earth and on the sea, and everything that is in it, I heard: to him that sits on the throne, and to the lamb be the thanksgiving, the honor, the glory and the power in all eternity.
Revelation 5:13
At the end I want to end with the words of King David:
I will sing for the Lord in my life, I will sing psalms for my God for my life.
Psalm 104: 33
Come and let us worship, our king.
In anticipation of his arrival,
